How To Start Online SIP in HDFC Mutual Fund?



Finance Guru Speaks: Do you want to start online SIP investments in HDFC Mutual Fund? If yes, then this article is of your interest!

If you are an existing HDFC Mutual Fund investor, then, first of all, get registered to its HDFC Mutual Fund website. You can follow the options as mentioned here.

In this article, we will provide steps for Online SIP registration of HDFC Index Fund - Sensex Plan - Direct Plan using your UserID and PAN. However, you may select any other Mutual fund from this fund house, steps will remain the same.

Steps to follow to invest online SIP in HDFC Mutual Fund:-


1. Open HDFC Mutual Fund website and click on Login via OTP link. Provide your User ID and PAN and click SEND OTP button:-

2. OTP will be sent to your registered Email and Mobile No. Enter the OTP, click on LOGIN button:-

3. On the Home page, click on Transact Now and then SIP as shown below:-

4. Under SYSTEMATIC INVESTMENT PLAN REGISTRATION, choose your Existing Folio (or create new Folio if you wish), select No to Distributor, add Scheme as HDFC Index Fund - Sensex Plan, Frequency as Monthly, enter SIP amount, Bank details, and SIP Start & End Dates. Click on Proceed to Transact to start Online SIP:-

5. On the Next page, review the provided SIP Details and accept Terms & Conditions. Click on Complete Transaction:-

6. On the Next page, SIP Registration Number (SRN No.) will be generated. Login to your Bank account and add this as a Biller to register for SIP deductions.

Congratulations on your successful Online Direct SIP registration of HDFC Mutual Fund :-)
