4 Easy Steps To Download Your EPFO PF Account Passbook Using UAN

NOTE: The steps mentioned in the Old Article - How To Download EPF (Employee Provident Fund) e-Passbook Online? are no longer valid due to changes in the EPFO Member Passbook website. Hence, this new article has been posted to my readers.

PF Member Passbook provides details about your Monthly EPF contributions and your employer contributions. Also, you can see the total EPF balance accumulated till date.

Updated* Steps to Download your PF Member Passbook:


1. Open EPFO Member Passbook Website.

2. As shown below, provide your UAN No., Password & fill Calculation Section. Click on Login:-

NOTE: Incase you forgot your UAN Password, you can refer to below Article:-


3. On the Next page, select your Member ID from the Select MEMBER ID dropdown for whom you need to check your PF Balance & Passbook. This Member ID is nothing but your EPF No. 

After selecting your EPF No., click on Download Passbook button:-

4. You will see one pop-up message (as shown below). Click on Download File button:-

Congratulations!! You can find your EPF Member Passbook downloaded in your folder. 👍

Some important details provided on EPFO Member Passbook Portal:-

1. This facility is to view the Member Passbook for the members registered on the Unified Member Portal.
2. Passbook will be available after 6 Hours of registration at Unified Member Portal.
3. Changes in the credentials at Unified Member Portal will be effective at this Portal after 6 Hours.
4. Passbook will have the entries which have been reconciled at the EPFO field offices.
5. Passbook facility is not available for the Exempted Establishments Members / Settled Members / InOperative Members.
