Below are the steps to Close Fixed Deposit Account in Bank of Baroda:

Step 1: Login to BoB Internet Banking website by clicking Here:-

Provide your User ID and click on LOGIN, as shown below:-

Provide your Sign On Password & Captcha and click on LOGIN, as shown below:-

Step 2: Once you are logged-in, click on Deposit Accounts under Accounts as shown below:-

Step 3: Against the FD Account which you want to close, click on Premature Closure of Deposit Accounts link, as shown below:

Step 4: Select the Credit Account where the FD amount will be credited after closure. Click on CONTINUE button:-

Step 5: Verify all the details of FD Account along with the deductions due to prematurity and enter Remarks & your Transaction Password to close your Fixed Deposit Account. Click on SUBMIT button:-

Below are the steps to open FD Account in Bank of Baroda:

Step 1: Login to BoB Internet Banking website by clicking Here:-

Provide your User ID and click on LOGIN, as shown below:-

Provide your Sign On Password & Captcha and click on LOGIN, as shown below:-

Step 2: Once you are logged-in, click on Open Fixed Deposit Account under Investments as shown below:-

Step 3: Select your Debit Account against which you want to deduct FD Amount, select FD Scheme, FD Amount, FD Duration, Nomination and Auto Renewal option. Click on CONTINUE button.

Step 4: Verify all the details of FD Account details along with the offered FD Interest rate, provided Nomination details and enter Remarks & your Transaction Password to create your new Fixed Deposit Account. Click on SUBMIT button:-

How To Close or Cancel Online FD (Fixed Deposit) Account Using SBI Internet Banking?

Finance Guru Speaks: Do you want to close or cancel your online FD (Fixed Deposit) account through SBI (State Bank of India) Online Banking?

If yes, then follow the below steps to cancel your FD account through OnlineSBI:-

1.      Login to OnlineSBI website, using your Username, Password, and OTP (if requested).

  2.      Go to Deposit & Investment -> Fixed Deposit, as shown below:-

 3.      Click on Fixed Deposit (e-TDR/e-STDR) link as shown below:-

4.      Select Fixed Deposit (e-TDR/e-STDR) option and click on Proceed button, as shown below:-

5.      Click on Close A/c Prematurely button, select your FD to be canceled, and click on Proceed button, as shown below:-

How To Block and Unblock Your Debit Card in Bank of India

Finance Guru Speaks: This article will share the steps on how you can block and unblock your Debit Card in Bank of India.

As soon as you see any one of the issues like Card Theft, Stolen or Lost, you can immediately Block your Debit Card to avoid any fraudulent activities or Suspicious transactions.

Once you have found your misplaced Debit Card, you can Unblock it for your usage. I will share Unblock Debit Card steps as well in this article.

Make sure to update your Mobile No. in the banking records so that you can receive the OTP.

Steps to Block your Bank of India Debit Card:-

1. Open Bank Of India website. Click on Personal link:-

2. Provide your User ID, Password & Captcha, and click on SUBMIT button.

3. On the Home Page, click on Card Services tab present at the top of the page. Now, click on Debit Card link and then Block/Unblock Debit Card link as shown below:-

4. Now, select your Account No. associated with the Debit Card and click on Continue button, as shown below:-

5. Select the Card Number and then select Block Option. Click on Continue button. For Reason, you can select "Lost Card" option.  It is shown below:-

6. Enter the OTP received on your registered Mobile No. and click on Submit button.

7. Enter your Transaction Password and click on Submit button.

8. The Debit Card is successfully blocked.

9. You can cross-check whether the Card is really Blocked or not by going again to Block/Unblock Debit Card section:-
