How To Advance Claim or Withdraw EPF Balance Due To COVID19?

Finance Guru Speaks: This is a very important article on how you can apply for Advance Claim (Withdraw) of your Employee Provident Fund (EPF) Balance. 

This Advance Claim feature is enabled by EPFO due to COVID-19 Pandemic and it is a very vital step taken by our Govt.  

Before I share the detailed Steps, it is very important to know the Eligibility Criteria as well as the maximum PF Amount which you can withdraw. 

Below details are shared on EPFO Member Portal:-

Eligibility:-

• UAN should be activated.
• Verified Aadhaar should be linked with UAN
• Bank Account with IFSC code should be seeded with UAN

Maximum/Eligible Withdrawal Amount:-

• Upto 75% of PF balance (Employee share and Employer Share) or 3 months PF wages or the claimed amount by the member whichever is the least.

Steps to apply for Advance Claim (Withdraw) of your PF Balance due to Corona pandemic:-

1. Open EPFO Member e-SEWA Portal Website.

2. As shown below, provide your UAN No., Password & Captcha code. Click on Sign in:-

3. On the Home Page, go to Online Services -> CLAIM (FORM-31,19,10C & 10D) link, as shown below:-

4. On the Next Page, You need to enter the last 4 digits of your Bank Account and click on Verify button:-

5. Once the Bank Account details are verified against your UAN records, you need to click on Proceed For Online Claim button:-
