To avail this feature, you need to be an existing HDFC MF investor and your Mobile No. should be registered in your Folio Account. Additionally, please make sure to get your EMail registered too. By giving a missed call, you can receive your Account Statement over Email as well.

This is how you can receive HDFC Mutual Fund Account Balance Details over SMS and Email by giving a Missed Call:-

Through your registered mobile no., just give a missed call to 08506936767 to get your folio account balance details.

Note: Make sure to use Country Code +91 if you are dialing from Out of India (E.g. +918506936767).

Once you give a missed call, you will receive SMS as shown below:-

SMS will provide you details about your Total Mutual Fund Account Balance, Scheme-wise Mutual Fund Names and their respective Balances.

You will also receive your Account statement at your registered email ID for the folio(s).

Congratulations on receiving your HDFC Mutual Fund folio details over SMS and Email using Missed call. 👍

Additional details provided by Fund House in its Website:-

• The facility is available only for folio(s) where you hold any units.
• The mobile number has to be registered in the folio(s).
• For receipt of account statement over Email, the Email ID has to be registered in the folio(s).

How To Generate HDFC Bank Internet Banking Password?

In this article, we are using Mobile No. and Email ID to generate the Password. Select this option, fill the Security Check text and click on Continue button.

5. As shown in Next Page, cross-check your Email ID and provide your Mobile No.

Note: You will receive two separate OTPs (One Time Password) on your mobile number and email ID.

6. In the Next Page, enter the OTPs which you have received via EMail and SMS. Please note that both of them will be different:-

Finance Guru Speaks: This article will provide you information on how you can invest in Mutual Fund through SIP using your HDFC Bank Net Banking facility. We will be using Bill Pay facility present in the Internet banking for the SIP deductions.

We have taken SIP amount of Rs 3000 in Birla Sunlife Top 100 Mutual Fund and would be registering for SIP deduction. You can choose any Mutual Fund house for SIP and follow the below Steps if the fund house allows HDFC bank for SIP registration.

Please note that we have already registered SIP for Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund through Fund house website and generated Unique Registration Number (URN). We will write a separate article on how to online register SIP for Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund through its website.

Steps to follow to start Mutual Fund SIP deductions using HDFC Internet Banking:-

1. Open HDFC Bank NetBanking Website. Provide your login details like Username and Password.

2. Once the Home Page gets opened, go to BillPay & Recharge link and click on Continue button as shown below :-

3. Go to My Billers -> Add & Pay Bills , as shown below:-

4. Select Mutual Funds option and Company name as Birla Sun Mutual Fund (or any other Fund house name of your wish). Click on Continue :-

5. Provide details like URN, SIP amount etc. Select your HDFC Account No. and click on Continue button as shown below :-

6. Check all the details carefully and click on Confirm button :-

How To Get HDFC Mutual Fund Account Statement Using SMS?

Finance Guru Speaks: Are you wondering how can you get your HDFC Mutual Fund  Account statement using SMS, considering the fact that you are an existing investor of this Fund house?

You need to have a valid email ID registered against your HDFC Mutual Fund Folio Account. You can register your Email ID at the time of Mutual Fund purchase or any later stage with the Fund house.

Generate HDFC MF Account Statement Using SMS

If your Email ID is not registered, then kindly visit HDFC MF branches or their Registrar CAMS office to register it.

Here is how you can generate or get your HDFC Mutual Fund Account Statement through SMS:-

1. Through any Mobile No., send SMS to 56767 in the below format :-

CAMS H SOA <Folio Number without check digit> <password> 

Suppose your HDFC Mutual Fund Folio Number is 8768976/35 and you need to set the Password to open the Account Statement as p1ssw2 , then you need to send SMS as -

CAMS H SOA 8768976 p1ssw2

The password length must be 6 characters, and must contain atleast 2 numbers and 2 alphabets. This service will return an Account Statement to your Registered Email Id.

Once the SMS is sent, it will either return an SMS confirmation that an account statement will be emailed to your valid registered Email address or in case of any error, it will report the appropriate error. 

All you need to do is to check your EMail after sometime and open the Account Statement by providing the Password (which you set as password in the SMS)

- The Bank is not responsible for any erroneous updation of Aadhaar Number in your account.

- If your Aadhaar number is already seeded in your account with HDFC Bank and you wish to change the account, please visit the nearest HDFC Branch with your Aadhaar Card.

- Please do not submit parallel requests for Aadhaar seeding using more than one medium. If you have already submitted your request for Aadhaar Card linking either with Aadhaar linking form at bank branch / SMS Banking / Netbanking, please wait for the failure message before again submitting your request through any of these mediums.
