Zerodha, as a Trading and Demat Account, has gained very wide popularity because of very low-cost trading and ease of use. If you don't have the Zerodha account, then you can open it through this LINK. It is very easy to open a Demat Account in Zerodha.

Steps to Sell Mutual Funds in Zerodha Coin:-

In my previous article (link), I have shared the Steps to Buy Direct Mutual Funds in Zerodha Coin. So I assume that you have already purchased Mutual Fund units in your Zerodha Coin account.

1. Login to Coin by Website or Mobile App. In this article, we have sold Mutual Funds via Coin Android App through Smartphone.

2. On the Home Page, go to the Investments section & click on the Fund Name to sell your desired Mutual Fund, as shown below.

In this article, we are selling ICICI Prudential Liquid Fund. The steps mentioned can be applicable for other Mutual funds as well:-

3. On the Next Screen, click on 3 dots as shown below:-

4. Now, click on the Redeem button:-

5. On the Next Screen, enter the Mutual Funds Units to be Redeemed (E.g. 200) and click on the Redeem button:-

6. Again click on the Redeem button:-

7. You have to complete this redemption by authorizing it via CDSL (your Demat depository). Click on Continue button:-

8. On the Next Screen, click on Continue to CDSL button:-

UPDATED - How To Online Update or Change Email ID and Mobile in ICICI Mutual Fund?

Finance Guru Speaks: This article will provide UPDATED* Steps on how to change or update your Email ID and/or Mobile No. online in ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund.

The steps mentioned in the old article How To Online Update or Change Email ID and Mobile in ICICI Mutual Fund? are no longer valid due to changes in the Mutual Fund website.

You need to have either an Email ID or Mobile Number registered against your Mutual Fund Account in order to perform the online update. 

Steps to online update your Email ID and/or Mobile No. in ICICI Prudential Mutal Fund:-

1. Visit ICICI Prudential MF Page by clicking here.

2. As shown below, enter your PAN No. and click on Submit button:-

3. On the Next page, select your Folio No. from the dropdown list and click on Get OTP button:-

4. You can choose to receive an OTP on your registered EMail Address or Mobile No.


In this article, we are choosing to verify our Folio via our EMail-ID. Click on Verify Using Email option:-

5. Enter the OTP received on your registered EMail Address and click on Verify:-

6. Now you can change or modify your EMail or Mobile details and click on Update:-

4. On the Next Screen, against ICICI Prudential Long Term Bond Fund, click on REDEEM button, as shown below:-

5. On the Next Screen, check your registered Bank. Select All Units if you want to redeem or sell the Mutual Fund completely. Else, enter no. of Units or Amount which you want to redeem. Accept the T&C's and click on REDEEM button:-

6. On the Next Screen, Accept the Read/Agree and click on REDEEM button:-

7. On the Next Screen, enter the received OTP on your Mail/SMS and click on Confirm button:-

Congratulations on your successful Online Redemption or Sell of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. The redemption amount will be credited to your registered Bank Account.

How To Register Online STP In ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund?

Finance Guru Speaks: Do you want to register STP (Systematic Transfer Plan) from one Mutual Fund to another in ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund House? STP allows the investors to switches a defined amount at a defined interval from one mutual fund to another of the same fund house.

Suppose you have made a lump-sum investment in Fund X so by using STP you can systematically transfer a defined amount (Say Rs. 3000 per month) in Fund Y. Remember both the funds X & Y should be from the same fund house.

6 Easy Steps To Register Mutual Funds SIP In Kotak Mahindra Bank

Finance Guru Speaks: Nowadays almost all the Mutual Fund Houses are giving Online options to invest directly in mutual funds through SIP from their Websites. Once you place the request for SIP investment, fund houses share URN (Unique Registration No.) with you which needs to be added in your registered Bank website so that SIP amount gets auto-deducting from the Bank account.

This article will provide you information on how you can register for Mutual Fund SIP in your Kotak Mahindra Bank account through Internet Banking facility. We will be using Bill Pay facility present in the Internet banking for our SIP deductions.

As an example, we have taken SIP amount of Rs 3000 in ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund and would be registering for SIP deduction. You can choose any Mutual Fund house for SIP and follow the below Steps if the fund house allows Kotak bank for SIP registration.

Steps to follow to start Mutual Fund SIP Auto-Payment using Kotak Mahindra Internet Banking:-

1. Open Kotak Mahindra Bank Online Banking Website. Provide your login details like CRN (Customer Relationship Number) and Password.

2. Generate the Dynamic Access Code. It will be send to your registered Email ID and Mobile Number. Provide the Dynamic Access Code and click on SECURE LOGIN.

3. Once the Home Page gets opened, go to BillPay/Recharge -> My Billers -> Add Biller / Instant Pay link as shown below :-

4. Select Mutual Funds option and Company name as ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (or any other Fund house name of your wish). Click on Continue :-
