Finance Guru Speaks: In this article, I will share the steps through which you can create SIP for buying Stocks in Zerodha.

As per Zerodha Website:-

Systematic Investments - The primary function of this feature is to allow you to automate your investments by creating an order basket. A basket can have one or more stocks and ETFs. The idea behind asking to create a basket is that you can create a SIP towards a goal as a basket - which could be a basket of stocks and ETFs. While creating the basket that you link to your SIP, make sure to place a market order to ensure execution.

Zerodha, as a Trading and Demat Account, has gained very wide popularity because of very low-cost trading and ease of use. 

If you don't have the Zerodha account, then you can open it through this LINK. It is very easy to open a Demat Account in Zerodha.

Sharing steps to start SIP in Zerodha:-

1. Login to Zerodha after clicking here. Provide your User ID, Password, and then your assigned PIN to Login.

2. On the Home Page, Click on the Orders -> SIP -> New SIP as shown below:-

3. Provide SIP Name and Click on New Basket as shown below:-

4. Provide Basket Name and Click on Create as shown below:-

5. Enter Stocks for SIP Investments as shown below:-

6. Enter the Stocks Quantity to buy. As it is for Long Term, keep Buying Price as Market. Click on Add button as shown below:-

7. Click on Close button once your Bucket is created with your SIP Stocks:-

8. Select the Created Basket, provide your SIP Date and Time and Click on Create button:-

How To Cancel SIP in Kotak Mutual Fund?

Finance Guru Speaks: This article will provide information on how you can Stop or Cancel your SIP in Kotak Mutual Fund.

In this article, we have provided steps for Online SIP Cancellation of Kotak  EQ Contra Fund using the existing investor's User ID and Password. However, you may select any other Mutual fund from this fund house, steps will remain the same.

Steps to follow to online Cancel or Stop SIP in Kotak Mutual Fund:-

1. Open Kotak Mutual Fund website and provide your User ID and Password and click on Login button:-

2. Enter OTP received on your registered Email and Mobile No. and click on Submit button:-

3. On the Home page, Click on Systematic Transactions -> Cancellation of Systematic Registration. Select Transaction Type as Systematic Investment Plan and Transaction Mode as Online/Offline [Online, if you started SIP via Online Website/App and Offline, if you started SIP via visiting Fund Office]


You can see the list of Mutual Fund Schemes against which SIP is ongoing. Move the Cursor to the Right and click on Stop SIP link against your selected Kotak EQ Contra Fund. As shown below:-

4. On the Next Screen, accept the Terms and click on Continue button:-

5. Review all the details and click on Send button to get the SIP Cancellation Confirmation OTP on your registered Email or Mobile:-

6. Enter the received OTP and click on Confirm button to cancel the SIP:-

How To Online Stop or Cancel SIP In L&T Mutual Fund?

If you are an existing L&T Mutual Fund investor, then, first of all, get registered to L&T Mutual Fund website. You can follow the options mentioned here.

In this article, we will provide steps for Online SIP Cancellation of L&T Midcap Fund using the existing investor's User ID and Password. However, you may select any other Mutual fund from this fund house, steps will remain the same.

Steps to follow to online Cancel or Stop SIP in L&T Mutual Fund:-

1. Open L&T Mutual Fund website and provide your User ID and Password along with required mathematical figure (E.g. 5-2=3) and click on Login button.:-

2. On the Next page, Click on Your Systematic Plans -> SIP as shown below:-

3. Click on Active link against your selected Mutual Fund, as shown below:-

Steps to follow to online cancel or stop SIP in ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund:-

1.  Open ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund website and click on LOGIN button after providing your User Name and Password:-

NOTE: If you don't have access to their website, then you can register your Folio by following instructions mentioned in this link. It will help to generate your User Name and Password to login.

2. In the Home page, click on MAKE A TRANSACTION link as shown below:-

3. On the Next Screen, select your Folio No. and click on CANCEL ISIP button, as shown below:-

Finance Guru Speaks:  This article will help to register for Mutual Fund SIP payments to be deducted directly through your Axis Bank account. Once you place the online request for SIP investment, Mutual fund houses share details like URN (Unique Registration No.), Transaction ID, etc. with you which needs to be added to your registered Bank website so that the SIP amount gets auto-deducted from the Bank account.

If you are an existing L&T Mutual Fund investor, then first of all get registered to its L&T Mutual Fund website. You can follow the options mentioned here.

In this article, we will provide steps for Online SIP registration of L&T Midcap Fund Direct Plan using the existing investor's User ID and Password. However, you may select any other Mutual fund from this fund house, steps will remain the same.

Steps to follow to start online SIP in L&T Mutual Fund:-

1. Open L&T Mutual Fund website and provide your User ID and Password along with the required mathematical figure (E.g. 5-2=3) and click on Login button.:-

2. On the Next page, Please enter the OTP sent to the Email ID and Mobile No. registered against the user and Click on Submit button.

3. Under Transact, select L&T Midcap Fund (or select New scheme incase this is not your existing fund) and click on SIP button as shown below:-

4. For the Mutual Fund Scheme as L&T Midcap Fund, provide details like SIP Amount, SIP Date, SIP Period, etc. Don't forget to select Broker as Direct. Accept T&C's and Click Proceed for Confirmation button:-

5. On the Next page, check the SIP Summary and Click on Proceed for Payment button:-

6. On the Next page, select Payment Mode (E.g. Internet Banking, UPI, etc.) and Click on Continue button:-

7. On the Next page, SIP Registration Number (SRN) will be generated. Login to your Bank account and add this as a Biller to register for SIP deductions.
